Sorry

I'm sorry I haven't been on in so long. I forgot the name of my own blog website. =(. I'm a bad blogger. I have so many book reviews I got to work on so you will see more book reviews. Until then! Hasta Luega! (I missed you all so much. Can someone please subscibe? PLEASE? :)?)

Lola and The Boy Next Door

Before I start with this review I'm just going to say that I had not a clue what this book was about. I was hoping for a light fluffy read with this book. I kind of got that. This book was so predictible though. I mean seriously. Lola had a boyfriend, they break up, she dates the boy next door forever. I mean seriously it was too easy to guess. I wish she saw that he boyfriend was a jerk even before she broke up with him. We cant all get what we want. On with the review.

Lola: I thought Lola was a good character I just think she was a little odd. I know how she wanted to be different and dress different and stuff but I mean at times she was really odd. I guess I really don't knowwhat to say about her. She really should have realized that her boyfriend was a jerk at the beginning instead of towards the end. I think that Max was a terrible person but he deserves a character review on his own.
Max: Max was a terrible guy to Lola. Whenever she would make him mad he would blow up on her and stuff instead of letting them talking it out. It was quite wrong of him. I really can't stand him if you couldn't tell. He was just terrible and I dont know what else to say about him. Break ups are always messy and she shouldn't have dated someone that much older than her. And he should've realized that but who knows with them anymore.

The rest of the book was ok. I did love how this author tied in the other book Anna and the French Kiss. It was quite cool even though I didn't read the other book I'm really hoping to read it though soon. I've got other books to come before it if I do get it. Don''t we all though? Other than this is was an ok book.

3.5 stars!

Bloodlines

Bloodlines was a rollercoaster! Most people compare it with VA series but you really can't. It really is its own world. I love Sydney more than I thought I would. I thought she would be a little dry and super afraid of vampires but she really wasn't. I feel like though for this book you have to read it to find out what happens so for now this book gets no review.

Insurgent *Spoilers*

This book was not as strong as the first one. I was hoping it would be a little stronger knowing that it was a sequel to a very good book. There were some things that I did like and things that I didn't. The fights weren't as bad but they still lost some people due to simulations. I have so many questions for this book though. Whats on the outside? If Jeanine is dead what will happen to those guys? They really wont have anyone controling them and they still have an essential faction that they need. Will they now be able to live like us or will they still live in factions? I dont know but I hope this will all be answered in the third and final book. Here comes the characters.

Tris: I thought her character threw herself in danger way too much. Even once she realized it she still did something that was kind of dangerous. She's dauntless but not that dauntless. Also I was very shocked when she went behind Tobias back and helped Marcus. That shocked me because she loved him. Well I can only imagine what will happen with their relationship because at times it was rocky it has got to be sinking now. Anywho she could have been just a little better but lets see if she becomes better at the end of this triliogy.

Tobias: HE IS AMAZING. I love this boy so much. I love him and Tris together. He really isn't afraid of much and he is strong. He doesn't care what you think but he will protect who he cares about in an instance. What  he did to his father was very interesting since he seved his father what hes done to him when he was a little boy. I actually dont have much to say about him at all.

I give this book 3.5 stars!

13 Reasons Why *Spoilers*

This was a very sad book! I have really never read anything like it. Normally I don't read really heavy topics like that but I heard nothing but great things and I thought lets give it a try! Boy was I glad I did. Lets start out with the thoughts on the characters.

Clay: Clay had a crush on Hannah. He wanted so bad just to see if those two could ever be a couple but he waited just a little to long. When he first gets the tapes he has no idea why. Once he listened to all the stories up until his he was a mess. He wanted to punch or teach anyone a lesson who messed with her. Then his story came around. I thought his was very interesting because in a way he didn't even belong on those tapes. It was pretty much the story on how those two kissed and once she told him to leave. He tried to stop her. He should've tried harder. Then after listening to those tapes and looking at a classmate Skye he wouldn't have the same thing happen to her as Hannah. He stopped her from walking out that door forever.

Hannah: Her story was wild. It started with a boy and ended up her being 6 feet under. I could see the snowball effect she was talking about. It pretty much though really started with a rumor. Justin Foley made that rumor. Why no one may ever know. Then they made a list for best butt in freshman class. They had Hannah against Courtney Crimsen. Well Courtney wasnt very happy about that. Her little meeting spot with two other people was now nothing but another spot in the world. I really never knew what to think with her story. The saddest part probably was knowing she killed herself with drugs.

There is no bad things to say about this book! I absolutely love it! Even though it was sad it was amazing at the same time! Please pick this book up! 5 stars.

GoodReads

Keeping the Moon *Spoilers*

Goodness there is so many books in this world. So many book reviews in this world. Heck lets add another. The book I would like to review is Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen.

This book was not what I thought it would be. I've only read one other book by her and that would be called Just Listen. It was ok. This though was an amazing book. I enjoyed everything that had to do with it. From Colie and her lip ring to Mira and her eccentric clothes. Morgan and Isabel were not any characters I've really seen before.

We are going to talk about Morgan and Isabel. They are like sisters. Living in the same house and working together. Just doing everything together. Isabel though was a beautiful blonde girl that always got the boys so when Morgan found the boy of her dreams she couldn't help but fall in love with him. One day Morgan gets an idea. Suprise Mark, her fiance. Well when she got there she found a stripper in his room with him. Yet she kept going back to him. Then he came around to surprise her. So on... Until she surprised him one last time and he had a stripper and another girl. Well the girl was HIS WIFE!!!!! Rotten dude I tell you. He knew she loved him too but he just played her and she fell into that trap. There was another twist near the end. Isabel had beautiful pictures of girls on her mirror. One picture though was of a bigger girl who looked like a nerd. She told Colie that was her cousin. IT WAS HER!!!! I was totally expecting that actually. Moving on.

I have to say though. There were a few things I did not like about this book though and you guys might disagree with me but I didnt and I'm sorry. I didn't really think the back flashes worked all that well sometimes. Colie only really had them when she was being insulted or something. Then she would remember when she got made fun of when she was bigger. Yea I get it. Do I really need to know every time because you're to scared to stand up for yourself so you shrink in your shell? That also drove me crazy. I wish she just stood up for herself. It took her seriously a long time to stand up for herself. I like strong female lead characters, not wimpy ones that can't do anything but shrink in the shell even though they could do something. She should've noticed Norman liked her. I mean c'mon is it really that hard to tell that he liked her? He did in case you didn't know. Goodness so blind to love.

One more topic that has had a lot of things said about. Her mom abandoning her. Colie did feel her mom left her for the world even though she could've tooken her with her. I don't know what I think of this. I don't think that she did that on purpose. Is that even really abondoning? I dont think so. Maybe her mom just wanted to travel the world alone? I dont really know because the author didn't look Kiki's head. All I do know is that is NOT called abondoning. I give this book 3.5 stars.
